Our Story
Before Fox Law and even before becoming an attorney, Ben Fox was already advocating for others.
In sixth grade, Ben watched a teacher treat his classmates in a way that didn’t sit right with him. While most students stayed quiet, Ben did the opposite. He requested a meeting with the principal. Not for himself, but for the other students. Ben had a strong connection with the principal and he leveraged to help his classmates. Ben knocked on the principal’s door, walked in and calmly explained what he was seeing and why it wasn’t fair.
Later, the principal told Ben’s mom, “There’s only one student who scares me if he wants to have a serious talk with me, and that’s Ben.” It wasn’t fear of disrespect. It was respect for a young man who would speak up, prepared and unafraid, when something wasn’t right. That instinct—to protect, to challenge authority when necessary, and to advocate with clarity and conviction—never left him.
In 2014, Ben stepped into the trusts and estates field as an attorney. From the start, it was clear he had found his place. Trust and estate litigation combined everything he valued about the law: detailed fact analysis, strategic thinking, and direct work with real people facing meaningful disputes.
He carefully assembled a team of skilled, like-minded attorneys who shared his commitment to seeking the truth and honoring the true wishes of the deceased. Like Ben, the other seasoned litigators on the team concentrate their practices exclusively in trust and estate matters, and care deeply about the lives affected by these cases.
In 2026, Ben launched Fox Law for the purpose of focusing exclusively on trust and estate litigation. Fox Law represents beneficiaries, heirs, estate administrators, and trustees in high-stakes trust and estate litigation matters. People often come to the firm during some of the most painful and contentious moments of their lives. They may have had their rightful inheritance withheld, or need to call attention to a breach of fiduciary duty by a trustee or personal representative of an estate. In some cases, trust or other estate planning documents have been manipulated, or someone administering a trust or estate has been wrongly accused of misconduct. In other cases, they may be facing false accusations of mismanagement or fraud.
Whatever the situation, when a client comes to Fox Law, they understand that they are not alone in their pursuit of justice. These disputes require more than legal knowledge. They require courage. They require someone willing to knock on the door—whether that door belongs to opposing counsel, a trustee, or a courtroom judge—and say, “This isn’t right.”
Our Approach
Fox Law is built on the same foundation Ben showed in sixth grade: preparation, fearlessness, and principled advocacy. We are not loud for the sake of being loud. We are strategic, direct, grounded. But when our clients need someone to stand up for them, we do so without hesitation. Because at our core, we will always be the people who are not afraid to ask for the meeting and to speak up once in the room.
The firm takes a collaborative approach to every matter, with the attorneys bringing their diverse strengths and perspectives to the table to advance the client’s cause. While every case has a lead attorney, the involvement of the whole team ensures that litigation moves forward smoothly, with attention to every critical detail.
